Terms of Service

The rules that make every YOUGO? ride safe, fair and predictable — for passengers, drivers and partners.

Last updated · 29 June 2026Effective · 1 July 2026Maintained by YOUGO? AB
01

The agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and YOUGO? AB (org. nr. to be confirmed, Stockholm, Sweden). By creating an account or booking a ride you confirm you have read and accepted them.

YOUGO? is a digital marketplace that connects passengers with licensed taxi drivers operating under fleet partners. We do not provide transport ourselves — the driver and their fleet partner are the transport providers.

02

Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • One account per person. Drivers must additionally complete onboarding and link a registered fleet partner before accepting rides.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community safety.
03

Booking & ride conduct

When you request a ride, our matching engine offers it to nearby drivers. A binding trip contract is formed between you and the driver once the driver accepts.

  • The minimum fare for any ride is 80 SEK.
  • Treat drivers, vehicles and other passengers with respect. No smoking, weapons, or illegal substances.
  • Drivers may refuse or end a trip for safety reasons or breach of these Terms.
04

Drivers & partners

Drivers operate as professionals under a fleet partner that holds the required Swedish taxi licence (taxitrafiktillstånd). Each driver declares a valid taxi driver permit (taxiförarlegitimation) during onboarding.

Fleet and venue partners are responsible for the accuracy of company information (Org-nr, VAT) and for complying with tax, employment and insurance obligations applicable to their business.

05

Pricing, payments & receipts

Fares are calculated from distance, time of day, vehicle category and live demand. The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay, except for tolls, waiting time or route changes you request.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Swish is highlighted where available.
  • Receipts are issued automatically in the app.
  • VAT is included where applicable under Swedish law.
06

Cancellations & refunds

  • Free cancellation up to 2 minutes after a driver accepts (or 10 minutes before a scheduled ride).
  • Later cancellations may incur a fee covering the driver's repositioning.
  • No-shows after a 5-minute wait at pickup may be charged the minimum fare.
  • Refunds for service issues can be requested in-app or by email — we review each case individually.
07

Loyalty program

Eligible rides (≥ 80 SEK) earn 1 point per SEK plus 2% cashback in loyalty credit. Tiers (Bronze → Platinum) unlock additional benefits. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be adjusted in cases of fraud or refund.

08

Safety & prohibited use

  • Always wear a seatbelt and follow local traffic law.
  • Do not use YOUGO? to transport hazardous, illegal or perishable goods.
  • Harassment, discrimination or threats result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to authorities.
09

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, YOUGO? AB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from rides provided by independent drivers and fleets. Mandatory consumer rights under Swedish law are not affected.

Drivers and fleet partners maintain the insurance required by Swedish regulation for passenger transport.

10

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or regulatory changes. Material changes are announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

11

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are first addressed through our support team. Consumers may also turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Stockholm District Court has jurisdiction for remaining disputes.
